• Upgraded from v.0.5 to v.0.6.1. Attempted to migrated database and got a “Migration failed” error message:

A problem occurred when attempting to process the following table (#113) wp_mailpress_usermeta
    Status: 0 error

Deleted v0.6.1 and installed v.0.4.2 (did not have a zip file for v.0.5).
    Migration worked perfectly.
Also noted that v.0.6.1 was MUCH SLOWER than v.0.5. or v.0.4.2.
What happened? Is zipfile for v.0.5 available?

Update to my previous note. I located the previous versions of the plugin in the repository. I now have the zipfile for v0.5.
So what’s the problem with v0.6.1?

Same here. v.0.6.1 is not working on WordPress 4.1 (throws different errors). Job done with v.0.5.

I had a problem, too, with v.0.6. I received an error message about the permissions for the folder “uploads > wp-migrate-db”. The message said to set the permissions to 755. Problem was that the permissions WERE set to 755.

So, I reverted back to v0.5 for both the live and local sites. BINGO! Everything worked smoothly.

Not to mention the fact that v0.61, for all its fancy user interface, runs MUCH slower than v0.5.

In the meantime I am migrating my WP sites from a Deluxe Shared hosting to CPanel hosting on GoDaddy and I discovered the Duplicator plugin. WOW! Files and database all in one package. No more FTP syncing the files. It’s a pleasure. And you can save the packages on your local system for backup.
