Migrating from shopify

    Hi, I have a shopify store and I’d like to migrate it to wordpress/woocommerce. In your description it says that your shopify store will still be active during migration but what about when its completed? Obviously I would like to fine tune the new site after the migration before I make it live – so I just wanted to confirm that the migration will not shutdown the original store once complete and that that is for me to do manually. Thanks for your assistance.

    Hi there!

    Thanks for reaching out to us. We may assure you that your Shopify store will be kept online during and after the migration up until the day you decide to switch it off yourself 🙂 Cart2Cart simply has no permissions to so. So yes, you’ll have enough time to tune your store on WooCommerce while still selling on Shopify.

    Hi I have a store in shopify and my primary domain is being used for that shopify store and for the beta version I am using the IP address. Now my question is how the migration will take place and when I am done with the migration and all the work in the beta version of the site is complete, I will be hosting my store under the same domain name as I am using now for shopify basically I will be switching to wordpress wocommerce completely, will that be a problem at any stage? and will this plugin be supportive for me at all the stages?

    Hi Nazir2cool,

    Sorry for the delay!

    This should not cause any problems. Cart2Cart executes data transfer only. As soon as all your Shopify entities will be moved to WooCommerce, you can freely change your WooCommerce domain.

    Also, Cart2Cart provides chat, ticket and phone support and would gladly help you work everything out with the migration.
