• I want to migrate a single site to a multi-site environment. I have looked everywhere but I can’t find a thing. Please help me out.

Single site is on a Windows 2012 environment, WordPress 3.8.2
Multi-site is on a Linux Debian 12 wheezy, WordPress 3.9.1

If you need more information, please ask! Thanks!

You would need to use the WP export tool and then import it to the new site.

I see I forgot to mention that, but I already try that and the problem is that the media files won’t export/import. Thats is big problem. The text is no problem.

There really isn’t a great way. I would import just the text (not the media) and then do a search/replace on your conent to change wp-content/uploads/ to whatever the new location for media will be.

    Generally it’ll be /wp-content/uploads/sites/#/

From there, you can manually FTP the media into that new location.
