• Hi:

I have a website I am rebuilding with the WordPress CMS. Current version of the website was, unfortunately, built with the so-called “EZPublish.” (or, as I call it, “EZRubbish.”)

Is there any way we can migrate some of the content from the EZRubbish site into WordPress, or do I need to start the new site from scratch?

  • Hi,

I know this thread is very old. But I’m in exactly the same situation as you were. I need to rebuild a web site that was made with EZPublish. I want to migrate it to WordPress. The problem is that I don’t understand how EZPublish stores the content in the database. When I search through the entire databse for words or short phrases from the web content, I can’t find it in the database.

Did you find a solution to the problem?

    Hi,

Yes, as it turns out, it can be done rather easily, apparently.

My solution was to hire a developer with experience doing this. The details of how he did it, however, are beyond my knowledge — I am more of an manager type who just trying to find out if it was possible or not before trying to search for a developer.

So my “solution” may not be exactly what you were looking for, I’m afraid …

Perhaps reviving this thread will draw attention from someone with direct experience doing this …

Ok. It was not exactly what I was looking for, no. But thanks for your reply anyhow.
