First of all, it is helpful to always give us where your website is hosted and a URL so we can look ourselves.
However, it is possible you haven’t enabled XML-RPC yet. You can do it by accessing your admin cp, Settings and then Writing. It is the one called XML-RPC and then tick the box and click save at the bottom.
Edit
I just noticed you said Blogger. If you are talking about Blogger.com, you would be best off asking Google for support as this is the official support forums for self hosted WordPress installations.
I have looked all over for a reason my ws word would publish to wp. You are the only one that answered that question. However after I went back and enabled the XML-RPC it won’t work. I get the same error code and they tell me to contact my blog provider.
So now what?

Guess what?? I went back and checked the Atom Publishing Protocol too and now it works. So I’m guessing that MS Word is using Atom also. However… my vidoes and pics didn’t transfer with it. I have to reload them. It didn’t save my format. Either way thank you for all your help you are awesome!
Hi all,
i am having the very same problem. But i have checked both the remote publishing options, and it doesn´t work. Word 2007 says: “Word cannot register your account”. I am using my login and password settings (I am the administrator of the blog).
