Do you want only certain categories to be in the slider — or do you want the slider to appear only when certain categories are shown?
Hey Emmvie – I’d like a particular slider to only show for a particular category. Like when I’m on the #EyesForLuxury Category page http://www.naina.co/photography/category/eyesforluxury/ I want only a particular slider to show up – may I know how to do that? ( I’ve seen the is_page code but I’m not sure how to set it up based on a specific category. Thank you in advance!

Has anyone solved this? I have the same problem: I want different sliders for different categories… So is there any way to autofill the appropriate images in the slides?
The Theme twentyfourteen does by using a tag “featured” – is there a way to tell metaslider to add all thumbnails of posts tagged with “featured-in-[category-name]?
Any help?
I understand that the pro version has the ability to filter but before I buy it I would like to know whether I can filter the posts shown in the slider by a vaiable like [category-name]?
