Meta shortcode

    Hi there.
    Wanting some more info on the [meta] shortcode but can’t seem to find any.
    It isn’t working as expected and it’s entirely possible I’m not using it as intended.

    In a widget, I want to show the username of whoever is currently logged-in
    so in the Shortcodes Ultimate widget, I have put
    [su_meta key="username" before="Your username is : "]

    The widget appears but nothing is showing inside it.

    What is correct use? Where can I find out how to use the [meta] shortcode properly?
