Meta Decription Emoji

I was trying to insert the following emoji 📞 to my meta title, but whenever I update the page it goes back to how it was before (without the emoji). How do I make the change? I have seen websites that integrated it to their titles. Also, do you think it can hurt or boost my ranking? I want to do it mainly to stand out from my competitors when people see the results.
