    Nobody?

    I found this:
readme.txt:* wp-admin will now have a wp_die() message instead of a 404 template because this caused problems.

    Why?

It’s much better and safer to redirect to a 404 page. When you redirect wp-admin to a message like “You must log in to access the admin area”, you are basically telling a hacker that yes, this is a WordPress site and yes, there is a wp-admin page.

You could use a URL redirect plugin that sends someone off to any page you like.

I solved the problem with this plugin:
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/sf-move-login/

We can do the same and if we want to redirect to “404”, only configure

that bad for “Rename wp-login.php” is a plugin I really like per simple…

    kind regards
