I just updated a few plugin as well as LiteSpeed. Now I’m getting a message that says,

“Please disable/deactivate any other Full Page Cache Solutions that are currently being used. LightSpeed Cache does work with other cache solutions, but only their non-page caching offerings- such as minifying css/js files. For this scenario only, please uncheck “Check Advanced Cache” in LiteSpeed Cache settings.”

But I don’t have any other cache running I deleted my old cache plugin when I switched to LiteSpeed.

    Other plugins I updated today,
    Adrotate
    Thrive Leads
    Thrive visual editor
    Genesis Simple Sidebars
    NextScripts
    OptinMonster
    Pretty Links
    Yoast SEO Premium

I don’t know what to disable to deactivate since I don’t run any other cache plugins. Can you help me resolve this?

    Thank you

    Hi @shellyo

Please check your wp-contents/advanced-cache.php file. Can you determine what plugin it belongs to by viewing the contents?

Our plugin will not overwrite that file if it doesn’t belong to LiteSpeed Cache, so it must belong to another plugin (which is why the message shows up).

Another possibility: what version did you upgrade from? If it is a very old version, there might be a conflict depending on how far you jumped.

    Cheers,
    Kevin

Where would I find the wp-contents/advanced-cache.php file? Would it be under editor in the WP dashboard? What would I be looking for?

As far as the upgrade, I only started using Litespeed a few months ago so it was most likely the most recent before this new upgrade. I can’t remember the number on the LiteSpeed version. The problem only showed up after I updated yesterday before that all the plugins were working well together.

    Hi @shellyo

You have to access the file directly through your host.

If that’s not a viable option, in the wp-admin, could you go to LiteSpeed Cache->Environment Report? This should be available unless you only have subsite access in a multisite install.

Once there, scroll down the text area until you get to “WordPress Specific Extras”. Could you paste the contents here? It’ll tell us the current active plugins.

    Thanks,
    Kevin

Here’s the list of current plugins from the Environment report. I also noticed an area at the end of the Environment report that had a section that began with # BEGIN W3TC Browser Cache had some entries and ends with # END W3TC Browser Cache I used to use W3 Total Cache but had problems with a WP update and switched to LiteSpeed and deleted the W3. As you can see by the list below it’s not installed on my site.

    Hi @shellyo

I believe the culprit is the “Cache Enabler” plugin. Please try deactivating that plugin.

I noticed that their description discusses WebP images a lot, so if you were looking for that benefit, try their Optimus plugin. Optimus should work OK with LiteSpeed Cache.

Let me know how it goes,

Thanks, that seemed to have done the trick. What is weird is I don’t remember ever installing that plugin and I know it wasn’t there before I did updates. That is so weird.

    Thanks for the help,

    Shelly
