Menu background transparent on front page
-
Hi!
I guess since version 1.0.3 the behavior of the menu bar on the front page has changed.
Using TwentyTwenty 1.4 and Twentig 1.0.4 the menu bar is transparent. If I use the sticky menu the backgrond becomes white as soon as I crolled up a little bit. At this moment the body elements gat the additional classhas-header-opaque.
I find this behavior only on the front page. All other pages keep the menu background white.
How can I keep the header with the white background, from the beginning? I can not find a corresponding setting.
Thanks!-

I noted today this issue comes up with an update of TwentyTwenty from version 1.3 to version 1.4.
Maybe you can have a look if you can add an option to handle this different?!-

Hi @codestylist,
We can’t replicate this issue on our side.
The menu bar should be transparent for the following page templates: Cover Template, Twentig – Transparent Header, and Twentig – Transparent Header Light. For these 3 templates, if you choose to stick the header, the menu should become opaque once the user scrolls the page (on all pages, not just the front page).
To keep the header with the white background, you should use the default template or the Twentig – No Title template.
If you still have the issue, could you please share the URL of your website?
Thanks.
@twentig I’ve changed the template and it works now, as expected.
Thank you for your time reading and answering my question(s). I know that can be annoying at times.@codestylist No worries! If you enjoy Twentig, please leave us a review. We’d really appreciate it.
Have a nice day.
