Menu-translation only after reload

    Hi folks,

    the plugin works perfekt without one small thing. If I switch the language, it changes only the site, not the header-menu. I have to reload it (F5) and then it is in the correct language.

    Any idea what’s the problem?

    @steinfranken,

    this occurs also with a standard WP theme?

    What plugins do you use?

    thx for your quick answer. I solved it by my own, I had some ajax problems in my theme. Thx for your hint.

    Hello! I have this exact issue and have not found a solution. Could you please help me? To answer the 2 questions you asked the original poster
    – It does not occu with a standard wp theme
    – Plugins I use:
    Akismet
    Contact Form 7
    LayerSlider WP
    Pinterest Widgets
    RSS Feed Widget
    Vafpress Post Formats UI
    Widget for Contact Form 7
    WPBakery Visual Composer
    WPBakery Visual Composer & qTranslate-X

    @dykhab,

    Turn on option “Compatibility Functions”, for any theme or plugin, which claims its compatibility with former qTranslate.

    Thank you! Enabling th “compatibility functions” didn’t work but I just turned off the”page animations” that my theme offered. I liked them but I think they are the cause of the issue if the menu not reloading when I click the flag.
    If you have any idea how I can make it work with the animations I would appreciate it but it’s no big deal.

    what theme do you use? Is there a free version?

    I think you use dynamic page load via ajax, this should be the problem.
