Menu not appearing

Thanks for the great plugin.

On this page: http://amqsolutions.com/install/activ/bases-activ-pro/

The menu trigger displays, and in the code the menu (#responsive-menu) is in place, but clicking (or touching on mobile) the trigger does not display the menu.

I do get a javascript error when loading the page:

Error: Syntax error, unrecognized expression: a[href*=#]:not([href=#])
jquery.js:422

(I’ve confirmed this is jquery 1.12.3) — I’m not seeing problems with other features, however.

I’ve taken over this project from someone else, and I’m pretty sure it was working originally. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
