Menu link only appears after refresh

    The “LOG IN” menu item on the top menu of our site will only appear after the user has refreshed once. We have tried disabling all plugins, using private browsing mode, and this issue appears for all users that we have talked to.

    No caching software has been enabled, no caching plugins installed. Self-hosting Ubuntu, Apache2, MySQL, PHP. Hosted on an AWS EC2 instance.

    Can be reproduced by opening Chrome in private browsing mode, seeing that “LOG IN” is missing, then refreshing the page and seeing that “LOG IN” appears in the top right of the page.
