Menu items on added page not working

Hi,

I’ve created a website with a couple of menu items on the homepage. On the home page are buttons that opens the 2nd page i added called sponsors. Once i am on the sponsors page and i click on a menu item in the header, nothing happens. In the url it just adds the menu name, but does not go back to the homepage.
