Menu Image – Admin controls have disappeared

I installed the Menu Image plugin and it was fabulous adding the images with the text to a custom menu. In fact if you view the site , you will see the menu on the left side of the page with the star conchos as images. I actually have edited in the past and changed the size it’s been great…until now.
Now I seem to have lost the control in menus. I click on Appearance => Menu, select the menu I am working on and the controls are gone!
I can’t add an image, I can’t remove an image, and I can’t edit the images because the controls are gone from the interface!??
I have tried the following.
I disable all the other plugins to see if it would work again. This did not help.
I disabled the Menu Image plugin and reactivated it and this did not help.
I disabled the plugin and I deleted the files and this did not help.
I’m out of ideas. I’m using the Vantage Theme and like I said it worked flawlessly but now I can’t seem to set anything. What am I missing here?
