Menu Bar and Categories

I uploaded the Monaco theme for my blog (www.adventureswithkiddos.com) and the Menu Bar only shows on IE (haven’t checked safari) but will not work on Chrome. Is there a way I can fix this? (detailed instructions, I’m not good with html and all that jazz).

Also, when I try to activate the Categories Widget it goes gray on the Sidebar list and doesn’t show on my page. Is there a fix for this as well?
