Same thing with me, even the submenus do not even appear on both Desktop and mobile versions of the theme
I thought it was my fault, but then I discovered that even their preview with the latest theme version also has this issue
So I thought it was something I did when building my site design. A few days ago it did work. Then I uploaded a copy of my site into a development site and I updated the theme when I saw it had an update. Then the buttons stopped working. I’ve been pulling my hair trying to find out what I did and thought it was the copy of the original site.
It seems that it may have been this update on 2/3.
The cool submenu slide effect is also gone at my website. I’ve tried to troubleshoot this and I’ve found out that it is working in V1.5.2 but since V1.5.3 it is gone.
I will try to find out what has changed to get this slide effect working again.
I had to chance a lot of my code from my child theme as a lot got changed to the actual pages so it seems and even weirder I had to change the version from my child theme from 1.0.0 to 1.0.1 or the style had various errors.
But yea the menus/sidebars do NOT work on mobile or resized resolution on your browser and the dropdown/child pages are not appearing in the normal view either.
There are many changes in the file called functions.php in the flat directory. The template-tags.php (located in the inc folder) was included in the functions.php in V1.5.2. In V1.5.3 the functions.php is completely redesigned an I couldn’t find an entry which points to the template-tags.php which setups paginated links in V1.5.2. The inc folder also contains no longer the template-tags.php.
Is this a bug or a feature?
I also have problems with thse buttons after the latest update (1.5.4).
The index/loop also seems to have been rewritten completely a lot more optimised, perhaps he has been updating things for the better but didn’t look or simply forgot to check these parts or so.
I’ve rerolled to 1.5.2 as it works there and I got a bit annoyed that the website/menu was inaccessible on mobile so yea until a further fix is applied I’ll keep it at 1.5.2
This issue has been fixed on Flat 1.5.5
Just updated and confirmed it is now working fine. Though I had to manually update as wordpress still thinks its on 1.5.4.

Im am seeing the same problem on http://www.yoarts.com iphone 5c
This does not work for me yet, after removing 1.5.2 (which works) and uploading 1.5.5 it breaks the menu again.
Can you give me a screenshot for further checking?
