Menu 2 times in the source code

    Hi,

    First I really like the plugin. I just have one problem I’m trying to figure out.

    I made one menu and dedicated it to the main menu location and the mobile location.
    They both work perfectly on Desktop and on Mobile, the only thing is in the source code the menu is there 2 times meaning 2 times the same not unique internal links not ideal regarding SEO and especially on every page is costing my crawlbudget.

    So can I make the same menu work on Desktop and Mobile with the menu internal links only one time in the source code.

    Hi mq,

    Thanks for getting in touch.

    This is happening because your theme is outputting the same menu twice on the same page, but that it is not something that MMM controls.

    I think if you disabled MMM for both your desktop and mobile menu you would see the same issue. And when MMM is enabled, it is ‘inheriting’ the issue from the way your theme is coded.

    The only way I can think to avoid/work around it would be to disable MMM for your mobile menu, and leave your theme to output it. The IDs for the mobile menu items should differ slightly from the desktop menu.
