• Hi guys,

I am using MapSVG (http://mapsvg.com/) to create interactive images on my site. I am hosted on SiteGround and I utilize Memcached to speed up delivery of DB content. Unfortunately, Memcached doesn’t work that great with this particular plugin:

As you will notice in the above video: If I temporarily switch OFF Memcache to make changes to a map in MapSVG the new data gets saved. After I make changes I can switch ON Memcache again. However, it would be really great if I didn’t have to switch OFF Memcached every time I have to make minor changes to a map.

Is there any way (please recommend PHP code / DB call or otherwise) to update Memcached when saving new data to the database?

I have asked using SG support ticket system but they were unable to help me. So now I ask the author of SG cache instead 🙂

    Thank you in advance!

    Best regards,
    Michael

Update: If I make modifications and save it works once with SG Cache enabled then if I save again the changes are not being recorded in the database.

    Any ideas? 🙂

Sorry for the late reply. Could you tell me which version of PHP you’re using?
