    We are investigating membership packages to integrate with our WordPress website. One of the principal requirements is that we can generate membership numbers to each new member upon registration in the body of a welcome email. Naturally this membership number should also be visible to the member whenever they subsequently go to view their own user profile.
    My sources have told me there is no membership plugin that can generate a
    member ID on the outgoing email.
    Any advice much appreciated.
