That having been said, medical information should always be treated with the strictest caution. It is subject to very strict regulations.
As such, using a generic plugin solution is not advisable.
It is highly advisable that you consult a lawyer who is familiar with online privacy and related legislation in the relevant jurisdiction(s) and to hire an experienced developer who is familiar with those requirements as well.

None the less, asking patients log into a site to see certain rehab exercises constitutes medical advice in itself (IANAL, I could be wrong) Their log in information and the exercises they are asked to do involves patient privacy issues. Maybe in your jurisdiction this is not a big deal. In some it’s a very big deal. We cannot tell you what to do here. We’re merely advising you to tread very carefully when patients are involved in any way.
In any case, we’re wandering off topic. A membership plugin which allows members to see tailored information is a good way to proceed.
