In an earlier version of AP Family Trees I used the following shortcode:

    [apft-search tree=your-lineage-id]

It no longer seems to work in the current version, although Member search via shortcode or Gutenberg block is still listed as a Pro feature.

Has the shortcode been changed or replaced in a recent version? If so, what is the current shortcode for the member search?

    Thanks!

The shortcode hasn’t changed – [apft-search tree="your-lineage-id"] is still the correct one. A couple of things to check:

    Verify your tree slug

Replace your-lineage-id with the actual slug shown in **AP Family Trees > Lineages. It’s the value in the “Slug / ID” column, not the display name.

Note that member search requires a Pro licence. The shortcode is registered only when the Pro plugin files are present and your licence is validated. Check you have the Pro build installed – the free version available on WordPress.org does not include the search feature. If you have the Pro version and the please use the support forum here https://bwtlsupport.com/ancestorpress-family-trees/
