Media Taxonomies through JSON

    Hello,

    I am trying to get a mobile app to load image content from my WordPress site using some form of metadata/taxonomy to filter and retrieve the proper images. I am trying to do this through JSON and have been looking at WP JSON API (http://wp-api.org/) and Thermal API (http://termal-api.com) for possible REST frameworks to use.

    I thought about adding media taxonomies through the Enhanced Media Library (https://wordpress.org/plugins/enhanced-media-library/)

    Does anybody have any experience or recommendations in how to approach this? I am struggling with the documentation as it does not seem to cover media taxonomies.
