Thank you for your report. I haven’t changed any MLA code or feature that might affect the Media admin tab recently and I cannot reproduce your symptoms on my system. I’d like to start by getting more information to investigate further.
There are two pieces of information that would be helpful. Both of them are best handled by copying information to a text file and sending the file(s) by email. You can contact me at my web site to send the files by email.
First, can you share all or part of your site information?
- Navigate to the Site Health admin page.
- Select the Info tab.
- Click “Copy site info to clipboard”.
- Paste the clipboard content into a text file. Feel free to edit the information to remove any information you don’t want to share.
Second, can you find and share anything from your site’s error log that might be related to the issue? You can probably use MLA’s Settings/Media Library Assistant Debug tab for this
- Navigate to the Settings/Media Library Assistant Debug tab.
- Scroll down to the “Error Log” text box and see if the log information is present.
- Scroll to the bottom and click “Download” to get the log content in a text file.
If the log file isn’t visible in the Debug tab you may have some other way of accessing the log; check with the site hosting provider.
Finally, you can have a look at some MLA options.
- Navigate to the Settings/Media Library Assistant General tab.
- Scroll down to the “Media/Assistant Screen Options” section.
- If the “Submenu Order” box has a non-zero entry, delete it or set it to zero.
- Scroll to the bottom and click “Save Changes” to record the new setting.
That’s the only option I can think of which manipulates the Media menu tab.
I will leave this topic unresolved and I hope to hear from you soon with more information. Thanks for your help, your patience and for your interest in the plugin.
