I can see that when the scroll is activated, the next posts do load the default < audio > tag that I believe seriously simple podcasting over-rides. If I enqueue this script in WordPress at a lower priority, will Seriously Simple Podcasting take precedence and load mejs-player?

I can use the infinite scroll’s appendCallback option to re-init the media player, but I don’t know how to initialize the player to begin with.

All right, so an update and hopefully I can get someone who dev-ed the plugin to provide some help. Like I said, I’m using a custom third-party scroll plugin (Ajax Load More) that allows you to queue up PHP script to load on each new post. I’ve set this code to be the exact same as my archive-podcast.php page, in which the player is loaded through the_content();
Does Seriously Simple Podcasting only work onload? I’ve attempted to include the player instead through the podcast_episode shortcode, but this screws up my post loop and everything loads as the same post.
Any advice on this? Currently I have the play button emulated as a static link, but I’d prefer to have the actual player displaying on the archives post.
Hi there,
I have been largely offline for the last few months and have been unable to help out all of this plugin’s awesome users in this forum. I’m sorry if this has inconvenienced you!
As a result there are a large number of questions here that I just don’t have the time to answer effectively. There’s also a very good chance that the majority of them are no longer valid as it has been quite a while since they were posted.
With that in mind, I’m going to close all of them (including this one), so if you still require support then please create a brand new topic and I will respond on there going forward, as I have time to do so.
Thanks for your understanding!
Cheers,
Hugh
