Media library Warning: is_dir() [function.is-dir]: Stat failed for

I have been posting to my blog for months now with the same settings. In the past week, I have not been able to post any photos via my computer. Everytime, WP goes to crunch and retrieve my photo for the post, I get an error reading: Warning: is_dir() [function.is-dir]: Stat failed for /nfs/c01/h05/mnt/36938/domains/zoomphotography.net/html/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009 (errno=40 – Too many levels of symbolic links) in /nfs/c01/h07/mnt/36938/domains/zoomphotography.net/html/blog/wp-includes/functions.php on line 1942

What does this mean and how can I correct the situation?
