    Hey,

I have installed the Media Library Assistant plugin on my staging env.
At the beginning it worked fine but then it started to get stuck and in some point it crashed the whole site with 503 error.

I created a new staging env and I installed the plugin again but it simply doesn’t work. When I try to get in the Media>Assist it simply load it forever.

    Thanks
    Arnon

Thanks for your report; I regret the trouble you are experiencing.

The most common cause of issues like this is insufficient memory allocated to PHP/WordPress, as described in these earlier topics:

Urgent: New update creating blank screen!

MLA stopped working after installing Themeco X theme

If the problem is specific to the Media/Assistant admin submenu you should navigate to the Settings/Media Library Assistant General tab and check two settings:

    1. Make sure all four “Where-used Reporting” options are set to disabled. These features are great when you need them but can take a lot of resources even if you don’t use them.
    2. In the “Media/Assistant Screen Options” section, set the “Entries per page” option to something modest, e.g., 20 or less. Large numbers can use up a lot of time and memory.

It would be great if you can read through the earlier topics, try the fixes they suggest and review your settings as described above. Let ma know if that helps and, if not, I can investigate further.

It has been over a month since the last post in this topic. I hope the above suggestions were helpful in resolving the issue you experienced.

I am marking this topic resolved, but please update it if you are still experiencing a problem with MLA.
