Hello, my security check showed the presence of a file called maxmind.dat in wp-content/uploads/slimstats/ and I’m wandering if that’s a regular file or something suspicious, please can you confirm it’s part of the plugin’s files? Thanks!

Hi Bonaventura,

Yes, I can confirm that maxmind.dat is a file downloaded by Slimstat. It is used to geolocate the IP addresses recorded by the plugin.
