hestia uses the material ui kit yet doesnt make use of material classes, not good when we want to make use of its features, hestia also doesnt seem to make use of material icons or javascript libraries, product page for material has so much better design so why not use it?

  • Hey @firestormdev!

Hestia made in partnership with Creative Tim and based on the Material Kit UI from Creative Tim (https://www.creative-tim.com/product/material-kit-pro). It doesn’t fully implement all the Material Kit UI classes because it is a standalone entity.

Using all the classes would bloat the style of the theme with unnecessary stuff that not a lot of people might want to use.

    Have an awesome day!

i take issue with that in a sense, ive discovered popular styles for basic bootstrap elements like alerts and buttons are missing, for instance success, warning, info are missing from buttons, all alerts are missing etc, try using btn btn-success will just give you the btn class which is grey, also in all stylesheets reference to stylesheet maps are commented but no scss are included, so debugging is made that much harder as line numbers are referred to in scss and not css
