Hi @kimcheever, @ricotheque from LyraThemes here.
That sounds weird indeed! Could you try creating a new post? Just copy the content from your old post to the new one, then try assigning the same iamge as a Featured image.
Let me know if this works!
Hi @ricotheque, No luck. When I view the post, no photo shows up even though I assigned the feature image. Also, the update doesn’t show on the Feature post slot of the homepage either. Did I disconnect something somehow from the template?

Hi @kimcheever, thanks for your patience!
I’ve gone through your site and tried assigning the copy you created as a featured post. So far, so good, but the image you’ve uploaded for it isn’t appearing, as you’ve said.
For some reason, the image you’ve uploaded wasn’t processed properly by Jetpack. Could you try recropping the original photo of the Beet-Stained Deviled Eggs, but use an image that’s at least 1200 x 550 pixels?
Let me know if that works. Thanks!
Hi Rico,
Thanks for the suggestion. I tried uploading the image again using an image of 1512×2016 pixels. I cropped it down to 1200×1600 and tried saving it. There was no registered error from Jetpack but the image still won’t appear.
I then went back and turned off all my widgets to see if something was interfering with Jetpack but still go t the same result, no photo appears.
What can I do?
Hey Kim, I tried uploading another photo of deviled eggs (not beet-stained, but free-to-use). It showed up in the Featured Posts, and it looks like Jetpack had no problem working with this new image.
I’m honestly as confused as you are about this. Maybe Jetpack can’t process your Beet-Stained photo for some reason? Is there any chance you can just take a new photo of the recipe? That would be a wonderful excuse to re-cook that tasty recipe!
