We are using the Masterslider plugin.

How do I change the default page to display a masterslider slide ?

Ive tried putting a masterslider short code on a page but the slider does not display. You see a rotating circle ?

The short code is [masterslider id=”1″]

Are Customizr and the Masterslider plugin compatible?

    I’m developing offline.

Has anyone successfully used the Masterslider plugin with Customizr theme ?

I’m trying to replace the default theme slider with a Masterslider on the default webpage.

    Any advice would be welcome.

Not used that one, but have used other alternative plugins.

    1) Disable the Czr slider at Customize > Content > Front Page

    2) Use this Snippet to add a new Widget Area after the Header, then move a Text Widget into it and add the [shortcode].

    Thanks for the snippet.

As a test I re-installed WordPress, added the Customizr theme and Masterslider plugin. Added the shortcode [masterslider id=”1″] to a page and it worked.

Masterslider slides display correctly on the page as expected.

I suspect there was a problem with WordPress itself which I could not trace.

Rebuilding the site and re-installing was the quick fix.

    Hi Andrew !

Please, can you tell me how you solved ? with snippet suggest ? or another simple solution ? Thanks !
