Master Slider In Gallery & Shortcodes

I am setting up a site and would like to use masterslider to display my post galleries

In another site i set up using the royal theme i was able to use shortcode that looks like this … [gallery masterslider=”true” thumbs_align=”left” caption=”false” skin=”ms-skin-metro” ….

and that shortcode would also be generated by clicking a checkbox in the original gallery creation

for some reason on the site i am setting up using razor theme (and the free masterslider) neither one is working . There is no checkbox and the shortcode does not work

Is this only available in the paid masterslider?
or is it a theme issue?

or is it something else?
