Thanks. I would like to make a suggestion that upon registration a user may be asked to click off a category that the user belongs to. For instance, I am starting a blog concerning advertising for lawyers. I would like to ask users to check off whether the user is a lawyer or an advertising agency. I would then like the ability to send a mass e-mail to either 1) everyone; 2) advertising agencies; or 3) lawyers.
Of course, I would also like an automated opt out feature. I would also like the ability to disable automated out for particular group of users. For instance, advertising agencies will be allowed to post their articles and messages without charge, however, in exchange I will require that they accept an occasional e-mail from me.
