manually added subscribers not receiving e-mails

    I took my old school e-mailing list and manually entered each e-mail address in through the tools-subscribers.

    I got all excited and they’d recieve an e-mail notification of my new blog post, but then when I posted nothing happened.

    I did not check the “override” email notification box at the bottom, but still, none of the e-mail addresses I added in as subscribers are receiving notifications of my new posts.

    I also went back and manually subscribed all users to all of my categories, then edited my post and updated, still nothing went out to the subscribers
