Manual order payment not working

Orders made by admin area are not processing payment after last update. According to my gateway payment logs they’re not receiving order data like customer information and price. Orders made from front end area are working fine. Can anyone help me? I’ve already tried everyting I could.

This issue might be caused by a plugin conflict, a theme conflict, or a server configuration issue. To troubleshoot this, please follow these steps:
- Make sure that your WordPress, WooCommerce, and payment gateway plugins are up to date. You can check for updates from your WordPress dashboard under Dashboard > Updates.
- Deactivate all plugins except for WooCommerce and your payment gateway plugin. Then, try to create a manual order and see if the payment works. If it does, then you have a plugin conflict. You can reactivate your plugins one by one, testing after each activation, to find the culprit. Once you find it, you can contact the plugin or theme developer for support, or look for an alternative solution.
- If the issue persists even with only WooCommerce and your payment gateway plugin active, then you might have a server configuration issue. You can check your server’s PHP version, memory limit, and error logs to see if there are any errors or warnings. You can also contact your hosting provider and ask them to check if there are any server-side issues that might affect WooCommerce or your payment gateway plugin.
- To help us diagnose the issue further, please send us a copy of your WooCommerce System Status Report. You can find it under WooCommerce > Status. You can copy and paste the report in your reply, or use a service like Pastebin to share the link.

I’ve checked your system status report and I’ve found some possible solutions for your issue. Here are the steps that you can try:
- Make sure that you have enabled the Accept Manual Renewals option in WooCommerce > Settings > Subscriptions. This will allow you to accept manual payments for subscription renewals.
- Check if you have any payment gateway plugins that might interfere with the manual order payment. For example, if you are using Razorpay, you might need to disable it in WooCommerce > Settings > Payments.
- If you are using the WooCommerce Manual Payment plugin, make sure that you have configured it correctly. You need to enter your API keys and other settings for each payment gateway that you want to use. You can also check the Charge Panel and the Payments Panel in the WooCommerce Edit Order screen to see if there are any errors or messages.

- I couldn’t find “Subscriptions” option in WooCommerce Settings. Is it a native WooCommerce option? I don’t use any subscription plugin.
- The only payment plugin activated is the one I’ve always used and it’s not Razorpay.
- I’m not using WooCommerce Manual Payment plugin.

Let’s go ahead and take things from the top.
Orders made by admin area are not processing payment after last update. According to my gateway payment logs they’re not receiving order data like customer information and price. Orders made from front end area are working fine.
This sounds like it is related to one specific payment gateway, activated at the site, and, while orders made by customers are still processing fine, those made by an Administrator or Store Manager account (therefore, manual) are not working as expected. Am I getting this?
Just to clarify, are you noticing this with the same payment gateway only, or more (as I could find at least two in the list of active plugins, at the site’s System Status Report (SSR))?
If this is noticed with more than one payment gateway, then it would be advised to check what commonalities there are among the affected orders other than payment gateway.
Feel free to reach out to the support channels of the corresponding plugins, as they would be in a better position to assist you, and this appears to not be related with WooCommerce core or its core payment options.

There’s only one plugin activated (Asaas), which offers two types of payment (credit card or Pix/transfer). But yes, none of them are working with orders made by an Administrator or Store manager.
I already tried another payment gateway plugin (Mercado Pago), but it isn’t working too. The difference between them is that Mercado Pago plugin doesn’t show any error. When I click to pay the order, it does not process the payment and keeps on the same page (checkout). Asaas plugin, however, refresh the page with “invalid customer” error. According to Asaas support they’re not receiving customer information to process the payment.
The fact that it isn’t working with any payment gateway plugin, in any kind of payment, makes me think it’s a WooCommerce problem. Is it possible to check it further?

It seems you are still having issues with your payment gateway plugins, both Asaas and Mercado Pago.
To troubleshoot further,could you please try changing the theme on your site to Storefront, then test the payment methods.
If that resolves the issue, you’ll want to get in touch with your theme’s developer and see if they have an update or fix for you. If changing the theme doesn’t help, you’ll want to deactivate all plugins except for WooCommerce and take a look.
If that fixes the problem, re-enable the other plugins one by one to see where the issue is coming from. If you don’t want to test on your live site, then create a staging site using a plugin called WP Staging.

Still not working with Storefront theme, neither with all plugins deactivated
I’ve just tried with WooCommerce native payment options and it worked (pay on delivery and PayPal). Was there any modification on payment processment in WooCommerce last update? If that was the case I can suggest modifications to my payment gateway plugins.
