Oh! I’ve managed to CREATE a page with SHORTCODE [businessdirectory-managelistings].
However, I have made 2 listings as ADMIN user and they are not showing up on the Manage Subscriptions page (with the shortcode inserted). However there is the message
‘Your current listings are shown below. To edit a listing click the edit button. To delete a listing click the delete button.’
Is this an error?
Hi simplequirk,
I believe the Manage Listings page is intended to work for non-admin users. Try assigning your listings to a non-admin user, and then login as that user, visiting that page again. You should see the proper results.
Admins would use the backend instead, since it contains richer functionality.
hi, thanks for your reply π i tried creating a new listing on the frontend under a non-admin account and it doesn’t work either.
does your plugin contain code that may restrict / calls on specific user types eg. editor, contributor? or all except non-admin?
thanks π
For the Manage Listings page, I don’t believe any role restrictions are in place for that. Only that you’re logged in as the user whose listings you want to edit.
What do you see exactly? Can you post a screenshot?
What version of BD is this with?
Have you tried a conflict test? Here is an article about how to test for theme and plugin conflicts with Business Directory, which may help pinpoint the issue: http://businessdirectoryplugin.com/support-forum/faq/how-to-check-for-plugin-and-theme-conflicts-with-bd/
Report back on those and we’ll take it from there.
