MAMP problem. Can't view my site.

My site is hosted in MAMP. Up until the installation of polylang i have had no problems whatsoever – even though i’m a noob. 😉 WP and all the plugins are updated. MAMP is up and running.

The problem appeared after i installed polylang plugin and choose “The language is set from the subdomain name in pretty permalinks. Example: http://en.localhost:8888/my-post/”

Problem
When i’m opening my site http://da.localhost:8888 i now get this error message: “Safari can’t open the page “http://da.localhost:8888” because safari can’t find the server “da.localhost”.”
In the other hand i am able to open it in chrome.

meanwhile if i under settings in the polylang plugin change the URL “http://da.localhost:8888/my-page” to “http://localhost:8888/my-page” (get rid of the “da.” (the subdomain)) all pages are able to open again – except the fontpage. the URL didn’t change here (it still “http://da.localhost:8888”). wtf!

How do i fix this?
