Under the advance tab you can add a custom style sheet. Thus you are able to take an existing skin, let’s use the standard.css. Copy that file from the plugins/maxgalleria/addons/templates/video-tiles/skins and put it into the wp-content folder so it would not be remove by there a theme or plugin update. Under the Advanced tab in the gallery check the Enable checkbox and insert the path to your custom CSS file:http://sitename.com/wp-content/standard.css, Now you can edit the CSS standard.css file.
We are preparing a new version of MaxGallery for release that will allow you to specify your own thumbnail styles (such as color, shadows, thickness). So you could wait for the new version that may be released in about a week.
