The theme that is apparently being used (SimpleX) does not currently support comments on “pages” … the code is simply not there.
You may be able to modify the theme files to add commenting to pages. Look in the single.php file and copy the “comment” code from there into your page.php file.
Be careful, and make sure to back up your original files!

How come i am not able to post comments on pages? – there is ofcourse no problem regarding articles – But how do I enable posting commetns on pages?
