Makes pages blank white

    Hi,

    I recently installed the plugin. Using Jupiter theme. I can go into the settings for the plugin, I can go onto the ‘All Announcements’ page. But I cannot go onto the ‘New Announcement’ page to make a new post. It just brings up a blank white page.

    Also if I try to go to pages via the backend of WordPress and edit any of my pages they also show up with a blank white page. As soon as I disable the plugin everything is fine. Seems to be some theme conflict.

    Any help with this would be appreciated.

    Hi Kuzz,

    It sounds like the issue is related to the CMB class thats being included with the plugin. I will need to get around to updating things to use the CMB2 framework as the older version of CMB is quickly becoming out dated.

    It sounds to me like your theme or another plugin is trying to use CMB and the two are conflicting.

    Thank you for the quick response.

    Would a update on your end to CMB2 help fix this issue? Even if my theme uses CMB also? And yes it’s most likely my theme as it’s a very customisable theme that has a hell of a lot of features so I’m pretty sure it’s that.

    Yea an update from the plugin would ensure that if the theme and plugin are both loading the same CMB class that they don’t conflict.

    OK great, I don’t need it just yet so hopefully you get the time to update over the next month. If not I’d happily purchase the Pro version to get the support needed to fix the issue if that would be a viable option.

    Hi Kuzz,

    Just the other day I updated things to CMB2. You can try again to check or not if you are still getting the white screen of death on the pages you mentioned earlier.

    It’s funny you just posted this, I actually updated the plugin today and tried it again and it worked perfectly. Great plugin.
