• My company.com website is hosted on a IIS 7 server written in ColdFusion / ASP.net. My ISP will host WordPress at blog.company.com on a different LAMP server, but will not put it in a subfolder on the IIS server. Begging didn’t help.

My problem is, I want to use company.com/blog instead of a subdomain so that the blog gives SEO juice to the original domain. My research has convinced me that Google continues to treat subdomains as unique websites instead of passing domain authority to the original website.

My ISP says he doesn’t know how to do this in the web.config file. I think it may be done in cPanel. Suggestions?
