Make field "Read Only" in Admin UI

I have a pod “Pricing”, I have one field name “admission id” in pricing pods(Advanced content type). I want, admission id field can be edit if user have a access to edit otherwise field should be read only.

We have a “Advanced” option while creating/editing the field. but i am not able to use this option properly. can you please give me detail’s to use this option properly.

I want “admission id” field can be edited to admin only if user is not admin the “admission id” field should be read only
