Make CustomPageTemplate available for CustomPosts

    Hello my friends, Ladys and Gentlemans!

    I’m kinda new with WordPress, so its a little bit messy for me to handle all the new stuff 😉

    At the Moment i stuck with the Problem, that i want to make my CustomPageTemplate available to my Custom Posts.

    I allready spent a lot of time with Googleing, but at all i didn’t find a working solution/answer for me…

    -Background, i’ve created the “HomePage” without WP, its just a index File (split into, footer, header and index)
    every new Site will be created in WP directly, now when i create a new CustomPost(CustomPostType), it takes the Content from the index file with it, logical,.. so i hope you know what i mean and you can help me with that!

    1. Is it even possible to add my CustomePageTemplate to my CustomPosts?
    2. How is it possible ?
    (As is sayed i’m kinda new to WP, but give me your input i will appreciate it!)
