How do I make a post priority.

I have a number of posts on my site but I have 1 post that I want to make top of the list for the next month. Even if I put another post up after this post I still want to make this special post priority or number 1.

    Can this be done??

  • neweb,

It sounds like you want to make that post a “sticky.”

This is exactly what I want to do.

When writing or editing a post, you can make it a sticky post via the Visibility section in the Publish box to the right.

    See this for details: http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-visibility/

Note, the above guide is specific to WordPress.com, but everything should be relatively the same give or take a few minor details.

    How Stupid can I get.
I was clicking the Schedule link and not the Visibility link. I was convinced my blog just didn’t have it 🙂

I think I’ll quietly slip away now with my tail between my legs. 🙂
