Major forum plug-in problems

Upgraded my wordpress yesterday and since then I can’t get any of the messageboard plugins that are available for WP to work on my site now. When I activate any of the plugins it displays a blank white page. In my activity window it is showing that only one file, the page itself, is being received. This is happening with both WP Forum server plug in and Mingle Forum plugin. I have spent hours and hours messing with this and can’t figure out how to fix… HELP PLEASE!!

Try deactivating the plugins and reactivating them. Also, look on the authors pages for the plugins – it is possible that they are simply not compatible with the version you are now on. What version did you update from?

I deactivated all of my plugins. Didn’t work. Reinstalled the plugins. Didn’t work. Tried different plugins. Didn’t work. Basically did all of the common trouble shooting procedures you would normally run through, as well as rebuilding the entire site in a different directory from scratch and reimplementing plugins and changes to the sites code, etc. Went from 3.0 to 3.0.1. Maybe it is a javascript conflict? Definitely seems to happen in the call to the header.. past that I’m over my head. I spoke with one of the plugin authors and he said that it had been thoroughly tested with the same version. Dig deep people, you can figure this one out.
