• The registration view is not updating despite making several changes to the layout and seats. After removing and reinstalling the whole plugin the previous changes were shown, but new changes done after the reinstall will not show.

Settings that will not show on the registration, but seem to have updated in the backend properly:

    • Changes to background image
    • Changes to seat background color
    • Changes to seat prefixes
    • Changes to seat lock status (see errors encountered)
    • Changes to maximum bookable amount of seats

    Settings that do still work:

    • Opening and closing reservations
    • Changing the registration info text

    Errors encountered:

    • When selecting and attempting to book seats, the system gives the “provide email address” popup, but then throws an error, because one seat has been locked, but is not showing up as locked in the seat map. When selecting other seats the registration goes through normally.
    • The maximum bookable amount of seats per booking is set to 2, but the registration view says that maximum total seats to select is 12. The booking will not go through if more than 2 seats are added to the “cart”.

The website is running on WP version 7.0.3.

All testing done on Google Chrome Version 151.0.7922.109 (Official Build) (arm64).

    Hey,
Do you have any cache-related plugin installed? If so, could you disable it and see if that resolves the issues?

    Hi,

thanks for the quick reply. Yes, we do indeed have WP-Optimize installed, although we use it more for compressing images rather than the cache functions. The changes I made are visible now that I disabled WP-Optimize momentarily. Do you happen to know if some other image compression plugin would be safer to use with SeatReg?

No I don’t but I am working on a task that should fix those cache related problems. Planning to release next week.
