I would like to ask a question regarding how support for this product works?
On the plug-in description page there are 2 support url’s provided, tipsandtricks-hq.co and here.
On the tipsandtricks site you can only go to the support forum which is reserved for paying customers! and as AIOWPS is free its not possible to get help there ?
Its just a question as I am very happy to get support here the forum is VG, I realise the importance of this plug in and see some of my problems with the questions on this forum.
I see a lot on brute force attacks I get a lot of that, its not worth blocking the IP’s as they just come back with a new one.
They get locked out after 3 failed pwd attempts and immediately with wrong user name, and then there is the kaptcha…
So I do not see how they can get in but this does have a negative effect on the site performance sometimes.
Thanks for your support
Hi, can you find out from your Host what the following means? For example most websites would have the following 96m, 100m or 256m but I have never heard of 100000M before.
Limite de mémoire PHP : 100000M
In regards to the following question.
I see a lot on brute force attacks I get a lot of that, its not worth blocking the IP’s as they just come back with a new one.
You can block an IP address range by using wild cards. Please see the following which is also added in the plugin.
Each IP address must be on a new line.
To specify an IP range use a wildcard “*” character. Acceptable ways to use wildcards is shown in the examples below:
Example 1: 195.47.89.*
Example 2: 195.47.*.*
Example 3: 195.*.*.*
If the IP address are mainly coming from certain countries and you would like to block this countries you can used the following country blocking addon.
I have also sent a message to the plugin developers to investigate your issue further.
Thank you
