Maintain back compatibility with redirects

Hi all, this is my problem. My wordpress site was once at mydomain.com/blog, however I just moved it to mydomain.com. I would like to redirect all links to mydomain.com/blog/post-permalink to mydomain.com/post-permalink. Is this possible through wordpress itself, a plugin or a straight .htaccess file? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
