Main Navigation Display Issue

I can’t seem to get the child lists (dropdowns) to render properly and they don’t seem to want to stay selected when I’m hovering over and they hide frequently. I’m sure this fix is simple I just have no idea how to word the question. My drop downs are askew and do not stay in focus on mouse hover and hide prematurely.

My categories link is the only one with a dropdown that goes anywhere any help would be awesome.
